Designed for Residential Homes
This system is scaled perfectly for your property type.

Embers from a wildfire can land on your roof, deck, and landscaping long before the flames reach your street. The Defender 7.9HP turns your pool, pond, or water tank into your own high-pressure fire hose system, so you can soak your home and defensible space before the fire arrives.
Everything is mounted on a single heavy-duty hand truck. Roll it to your water, connect the suction hose, pull-start the engine, and you're spraying in minutes.
Who This System Is For
- Homes with a pool, pond, or water tank within reach of a 15 ft suction hose
- Homeowners who want two hose lines running at the same time
- Residential properties that need more pressure and reach than an entry-level pump
- Homeowners who want a pull-start engine with no battery to maintain
Consider a different system if:
- You want sprinklers that keep soaking the property on their own → see the Perimeter series
- You have large acreage, long hose runs, or steep elevation changes → see the Defender 13HP
- Your water source is salt water → this pump is designed for fresh water only
How It Works
The pump pulls water from your pool, pond, or tank through the 15 ft suction hose. Its twin-stage design pushes that water through two impellers, building much more pressure than a standard single-stage pump.
From there, water flows out through two fire hose lines:
- 1.5" line: the main line for strong, long-reaching streams, up to 100+ feet
- 1" line: lighter and easier to drag around corners and up to the roofline
Both nozzles twist from a straight stream to a wide fog spray. If both nozzles are closed while the engine is running, the automatic pressure relief valve releases water so the pump doesn't overheat.
